Prerequisites: Basic understanding of temperature, pressure, flow and level controls.
Who Should Attend? This course is intended to provide basic print reading skills to operations personnel who have the responsibility to maintain maximum uptime of process units through comprehension of input and output values as related to operating procedures and control and interlock schemes.
Course Purpose: This workshop is designed to enable operations personnel to read and comprehend interlock and control circuitry prints. Emphasis on control device functions, symbology representation and flow of input and output values as related to permissives and control schemes assures quick learning of print logic. Hands-on problem solving activities, utilizing the IEC Simulator, provide the understanding of control device relationships to alarm and interlock status associated with operator graphics.
